The trading landscape for UK companies has changed greatly in recent times and many companies have been thrown into the world of international trade. This masterclass will highlight some key tips and considerations for international trade.
Katie Doherty joined IMTA in 2012 and took over as CEO in March 2019. Katie has developed expertise in international customs and trade as well as food regulations. She received a distinction for her Diploma in World Customs Compliance and Regulations with The Institute of Export in 2019. Katie is a graduate of International History from the London School of Economics.
Margaret Boanas has been Chairman of IMTA since 2015 and had been an active board member for many years before that. Having spent an exciting and varied career of over 40 years in the meat sector, Margaret provides invaluable insight to IMTA on the practicalities of the trade. Margaret was a board member of UECBV. Though her involvement in UECBV she has met European Commissioners, as well as Ministers and Ambassadors from across the world, building bridges between the UK meat trade sector and our international partners. As well as her role at IMTA, Margaret is currently Master of the Worshipful Company of Butchers.
