Back for it’s fifth year, the One to Watch is an annual prize celebrating young, aspirational women in the meat industry.

At Meat Business Women, we support the progression of women in the meat industry. That why the One to Watch was developed, to recognise, celebrate and nurture young women in their career advancement.

It’s more than just an accolade – our winner also receives £4,000 which you can use towards your personal development. This can be used in any way you sees fit – coaching, courses, training, qualifications etc.

Who can apply?

Women who are aged 35 or under and who work in any area of the UK or Irish Meat Industry, including processing, retail, industry bodies and supporting organisations. You don’t need to be a member of Meat Business Women to apply.

What’s the judging process?

Once you’ve completed your application, and applications have closed on 31st July 2023, our judges will carefully review it.

If you are shortlisted, you will be contacted in August 2023. We will organise a short Zoom interview with our panel of judges who will ask you more questions about your application.

Our judges will then decide on a winner, who will be awarded with £4,000 towards her personal development.
