Since 2021, the Pinstone team have been active members, hosting and engaging in career-enhancing masterclasses, events, mentoring and networking opportunities through Meat Business Women.
Awarded B-Corp status in 2023, Pinstone values align closely with those of Meat Business Women, explains Hannah Lloyd, Pinstone director. “As a women led business, we are hugely passionate about empowering and raising the profile of women within the food and agricultural industries as we are starkly aware that we are currently in the minority.
“To be able to partner with a community so driven to provide role models for women in business in a sector we are so aligned to, is very rewarding, it’s great to be able to give something back and use our communications skills as a force for good.”
Laura Ryan, global chair and founder of Meat Business Women, says: “Pinstone have been proactive supporters of Meat Business Women for years, and we have come to depend on their fantastic team for strategic communications expertise, whilst being able to support their employees’ career development through our partnership. We’re delighted to expand the way we work with them this year.”
Pinstone will work with Meat Business Women through 2024 and 2025 to deliver a range of projects, including providing creative and strategic direction for the organisation’s 10th anniversary.
Meat Business Women is the United Nation’s recognised global professional network for women working across the meat industry. It was created to improve the sustainability of the meat sector and grow the pipeline of female talent in this male dominated arena.
