Sascha Hann Awarded Meat Business Women Australia’s One to Watch for 2024
At the recent Power of You conference held in Melbourne on 20th March, Meat Business Women Australia proudly awarded Sascha Hann as the recipient of the Australian 2024 One to Watch award. This accolade spotlights young, aspirational women in the meat industry poised for career advancement.
Sascha Hann, Production Manager for Red Meat at Retail Ready Operations - Coles, distinguished herself by championing workplace gender inclusivity and flexibility. Her innovative contributions to leadership initiatives and gender-inclusive solutions underscored her commitment to tackling the broken career ladder.
Upon receiving the award, Sascha shared her aspirations and what this recognition signifies for her "I am filled with optimism for the future of the meat industry, with the many advancements in technology, increased focus on sustainability and evolving customer preferences, there are boundless opportunities for growth and transformation. I intend to utilise the award to further my studies in business, to pursue my goal of achieving a senior management position within my workplace and also to help navigate through new frontiers within my career.”
