About Margo Andrae

Margo joined Australian Pork Limited (APL) on 1 August 2019. Prior to commencing with APL, Margo held positions with Cattle Council of Australia, CSIRO, University of NSW, Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation and QLD Local Government. She has extensive experience and networks across primary industries, regional Australia and research environments through these roles.

Margo has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, marketing, communications, business development, operations and resource management and is currently completing her MBA through the Australian Graduate School of Management, UNSW.

Margo is a Director of Australasian Pork Research Limited (APRIL), a member of Climate Research Strategy for Primary Industries (CRSPI), The Council of Rural Research & Development Corporations (CRRDC) and is a former Director of Agricultural Innovation Australia (AIA).

About Julia Jones

Never really living in the moment but always being excited about the future is what drives Julia Jones. Change is inevitable and she works hard to help others have confidence in navigating an uncertain future.

Her time with KPMG fuelled her passion for understanding global trends and their impact on NZ’s economy. Her role now as the Head of Insight with NZX enables her to provide insight and foresight to support business, our communities and ultimately NZ to keep progressing.

Julia has had a series of highlights over her career which include completing the Harvard Agri Seminar in China, winning the emerging leader scholarship from MPI to attend the Te Hono boot camp at Stanford University, graduating the AWDT Escalator Program, a short stint working in Russia and being appointed to the primary sector council. She works remotely and lives in the Eureka in the Waikato and is very grateful to live in a supportive rural community and with the opportunity to experience the buzz of the city.
