About Pamela Brook
Pam is a past and current editor of Meat Management magazine and Food Management Today. She has been a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Butchers since 1996 and is a member of the Institute of Meat.
She has been writing about the meat business in one guise or another for the past 27 years, including assisting several meat trade associations.
In addition to her work with the industry Pam also edits a quarterly title in what she considers an important, and still often overlooked, area of women’s health; Menopause Matters magazine.
She is also a local Parish Councillor, volunteers as a listening Samaritan and in 2007 she obtained a first-class honours degree in Arboriculture, improving her knowledge about trees, which she considers to be one of the most important organisms and resource we have.
