Ambition Ambassador Awards

2025 is our anniversary year, and there is no better way to celebrate than to recognise and honour the standout achievements of incredible women working across our industry.

So with that, we’re so excited to expand our awards for one-year only and honour 10 remarkable women across three categories, presented at our UK & Ireland Summit on 22nd May

These awards aren’t just about recognition—they’re about highlighting role models who inspire and lead with purpose, at every stage of their career,

We're bringing back our flagship One to Watch award, as well as adding two new categories designed to empower women by showcasing their achievements and potential: Culture Champion and Allyship Ambassador.

The Prize

True to the spirit of Meat Business Women, these awards offer more than just a certificate. As well as recognition in our inaugral Ambition Ambassador Index 2025, each winner will receive a series of group coaching sessions with a professional executive coach, helping to unlock new opportunities and accelerate their personal and professional growth.

Key Dates

What's the judging process?

Applications will open on Monday 10^th February 2025 and close on 30^th March 2025.

The application/nomination process will involve a small number of questions answered via a video submission.

The panel of judges will be made up of MBW’s UK & Ire Committee, who will judge objectively and independently.

Our judges will choose their top 10 Ambition Ambassadors per category.

The Ambition Ambassadors will be announced at the MBW 2025 Summit on Thursday 22^nd May at Telford Golf and Spa Hotel.

Who can apply?

One to Watch

Women 35yrs or under, who are working in any area of the UK or Ireland food industry (including processing, retail, foodservice, supporting industries, industry bodies and organisations etc)

Culture Champions

Women of any age, who are driving progress on DEI within their organisations & the industry. They can work in any area of the UK or Ireland food industry (including processing, retail, foodservice, supporting industries, industry bodies and organisations etc).

Allyship Ambassador

Women and men of any age who prioritise the mentorship of others, advocate for underrepresented individuals and drive positive change within their organisations. They can work in any area of the UK or Ireland food industry (including processing, retail, foodservice, supporting industries, industry bodies and organisations etc).
